I was recently tagged for the “What’s in your (vegan) freezer” game by KimmyKokonut. Since it’s only been about five weeks since the big windstorm that knocked out our power causing us to empty our fridge and freezer and we’re about to start a kitchen renovation, there isn’t much in my freezer right now!
Just some frozen veggies, frozen burgers, and some buns (the only vegan ones I can find!). The only two omni things in my freezer are my husband’s Whole Foods cheese pizza and my daughter’s cheese ravioli (which I forgot to label, but it’s under the buns).
The picture I took of the items in the door of the freezer didn’t turn out well (at all!), so I’ll just list the items for you:
- a bag of almond meal
-a box of seitan strips
-a ziploc bag filled with veggie dogs, tofurkey sausage, soy chorizo, and vegan cheese
-vegan meatballs
-tater tots
When our kitchen renovation is complete, I’ll tag myself for this game again and show everyone what we’ve stocked our new freezer with!
Speaking of the upcoming renovation….
I’ve posted kitchen “before” pictures on Flickr. Here’s the link.
So, that’s the end of this Vegan MoFo week for me. I’ll still try to post during our renovation, but I will probably be more absent than usual. However, this will provide me a great opportunity to catch up on reading all of your blogs and maybe discovering some new ones!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

I’m so jealous of your not-crammed-full freezer. Of course, I’m sure the hurricane/no power issue contributed to that … and I’m not jealous of that one bit.
Also, I’ve never thought of freezing salsa, but good idea….jars usually get moldy on me.

Your freezer is so nice and organized. Want to come over and do mine? Mine is so chaotic there isn’t even room for ice. ::Sigh::
